The UK government has announced a financial scheme that guarantees funding for successful UK applicants to the first Horizon Europe calls regardless of the outcome of the UK’s association to Horizon Europe.
The Connecting Europe Facility funds interconnectors and renewable energy projects with cross-border elements. The program can finance studies and/or works. It has an annual budget of €100m for renewable energy.
The first Interreg North-West Europe (NWE) call for projects in the 2021-2027 period is now open.
Over the lifetime of the Programme (2021-2027), €287m will be allocated to projects. There is no ceiling for the budget that can be used for this first call.
The European Investment Bank (EIB) is providing financial advice to innovative energy demonstration projects within the European Union, with an objective of helping these projects become bankable.

This OEE members only workshop was a unique opportunity to meet and exchange with the NAMA facility team BEFORE the launch of their call for small scale tidal stream projects in the Philippines.
The Government of the Philippines will channel €20 million of grant funding to tidal and solar PV projects around its islands, through the NAMA Support Project (NSP).
The Fund will focus on demo projects for highly innovative technologies and big flagship projects that can bring on significant emission reductions. Only projects with a total capital expenditure above €7.5m are eligible under this call.
