23.09.2024 $112.5 million available for wave device demonstration in the United States

This is the largest-ever wave energy demonstration funding call. Up to 17 projects will be funded by grants from $2.4 million and $25.3 million. Technologies will pass through a stage-gate ‘funnel’ process to identify up to 10 of the most promising devices. Projects are expected to commence in the second half of 2025.
