UK Tidal Developer Spiralis Energy joins Ocean Energy Europe Board of Directors

Chief Executive Guy Levene will represent Spiralis Energy on the OEE Board of Directors.

Rémi Gruet, CEO of Ocean Energy Europe, welcomed Spiralis Energy to the OEE membership and the Board of Directors ‘It is great to see new tidal players enter the market. We are happy to welcome Spiralis Energy  to our membership and Board of Directors. Spiralis will bring a fresh perspective and I look forward to working together with Guy and his team to bring tidal energy to full commercialisation.’

Tidal developer Spiralis Energy is working to develop their first full-scale device and is currently working with Alderney to test a prototype of their Axial Skelter power-generating screws in the Alderney waters. Made from recycled materials and easy to maintain, Spiralis Energy’s tidal solution is simple, scalable and will have a modular design.
