Ocean Energy Europe has teamed up with the European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC) to organise a dedicated site visit for European Commission officials to the test site.
Getting metal wet
This visit is being held in conjunction with the public Orkney EU Ocean Energy Day, which will open up the facilities to the general public on Wednesday 28 June.
Real sea testing is critical to the commercialisation of ocean energy, and EMEC presents a shop window for a range of technologies and R&D projects. Participants will see the multiple technologies undergoing sea trials, and meet the pan-European workforce who are making it happen.
