OCEANERA-NET is the short name for the Ocean Energy European Research Area Network (ERA-NET), representing a Network of 16 European research funding organisations from 9 countries.

The project is funded by the European Union through Framework Programme 7.

The objective of OCEANERA-NET is to coordinate research funding programmes between European countries and regions to support research and innovation in the ocean energy sector. Ocean energy includes the generation of renewable electricity from wave and tidal energy, salinity gradient and ocean thermal energy conversion.

The first OCEANERA-NET joint call for proposals will open end of October 2014 and we are pleased to be able to announce the launch of the call at the Ocean Energy Europe Conference 2014 in Paris.

The aim of this workshop is to introduce the call and to give attendees an opportunity to network and support their partner search and consortia building activities.

Full agenda to follow shortly.

Please note: This is a FREE workshop. Registration for this event does not entitle you to attend Ocean Energy Europe 2014.

If you intend to visit Ocean Energy Europe 2014, please book your conference tickets separately.
